Growing up a few miles away from New York City, I never felt like I fully took advantage of living next to the greatest city in the world. I was extremely fortunate to go to high school right on the waterfront in Jersey City, and I could remember taking a trip into Manhattan in with the Italian club my sophomore year and feeling the energy as we got off the train. New York's energy and charm is contagious, making it an easy place to take pictures! My favorite spots in Manhattan are South Street seaport, the WTC Oculus, and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.
